Restrictions and inconvenience
Zentralbahn aims to ensure smooth operations for all passengers. However, certain construction and modification works are unavoidable. We make every effort to minimise the impact on local residents and travellers and to limit any inconvenience to a necessary minimum in terms of duration.
The bicycle parking area in the vicinity of the new platform canopy will be closed for the duration of the construction works.
Immissions / construction noise
The construction works carried out by Zentralbahn, which will continue until the end of September 2025, generally take place from Monday to Friday between 7.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Information about any night-time works will be published directly on zentralbahn.ch/nachtarbeiten. Zentralbahn strives to keep noise emissions as low as possible.
Rail traffic disruptions
During the construction period, from Monday to Friday between 7.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m., no trains will stop at Track 2; all trains will operate via Track 1. Outside construction hours, train services will operate normally on both tracks. The construction works will not result in any timetable delays. Detailed information is provided on site. The current timetable can be found in the SBB online timetable.
Road traffic disruptions
Access to the adjacent properties will be maintained; however, some disruptions are to be expected. Where necessary, diversion routes will be signposted.
