Hourly from Lucerne

  • mid-April to mid-October: 07:06–17:06

Hourly from Interlaken

  • mid-October to mid-April: 10:04–17:04
  • mid-April to mid-October: 09:04–19:04

Seat reservations in the restaurant

Enjoy a delicious aperitif platter with a view of the lake.

Seats in the zb restaurant can be reserved up to one day before departure for CHF 16 or CHF 12 per seat online at SBB.ch, at the ticket counter, via the SBB Contact Center at 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min), or at the Lucerne shop. 

You will receive a reservation confirmation, which you must take with you on your journey.

No seat available in the restaurant? No problem, all products are also available to take away.

Minimum consumption requirement

Please note that a minimum consumption requirement applies in zb restaurant. If you do not order anything, the staff may reassign your reserved seat to passengers who are consuming.

Food and drinks menu

In addition to the usual SBB restaurant offerings, the Zentralbahn restaurant also features the following two specialties: 

  • «Brünig coffee»: a coffee with original Willisau plums for CHF 8.50 (same price in euros)
  • «Zentralbahn Cüpli»: 1dl Prosecco with a shot of raspberry syrup for CHF 9.90 (same price in euros)
