An easy ten-kilometre trail leads around the lake and offers fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, numerous barbecue areas with firewood invite you to picnic and relax. The impressive ‘Dundelbachfall’ waterfall is a nature reserve and is particularly worth seeing.
Active on the water
Whether pedalling, sailing or gliding across the water on a stand-up paddleboard – Lake Lungern offers plenty of opportunities to be active. The constant wind conditions also make it very popular with sailors and windsurfers.

The lake is known for its rich fish population and is a paradise for anglers. The tranquil surroundings and impressive nature make fishing here a special experience.
Important information
Take the Zentralbahn railway to either Lungern or Kaiserstuhl. The lake is just a few minutes' walk from either station.
