Laura loves the mountains around Melchtal and the Kriens and Alpnach mountains – especially in the early hours of the morning. She deliberately chooses a seat by the window so she can enjoy the view of the most beautiful peaks, sometimes ahead and sometimes behind. These impressions set her up for her working day at the Talents Free School in Lucerne.

In addition to her daily commute – “I enjoy these two 20-minute periods of peace and quiet for myself!” – Laura also uses the Zentralbahn for excursions in the region, where she often has spontaneous encounters with curious tourists from Asia: “The photos we take together, the exchange of tips and the warm conversations make every trip an experience.”

Thank you, Laura. We enjoy traveling with you.

The following content may not be accessible. This is a decorative video showing an image video of Laura. At the beginning of the video, Laura is standing at the train station in Sarnen. Behind her is a woman with a stroller and two children. Laura sees one of the children's hats fall off. She goes over and gives the child back his hat. Then we see her enjoying the beautiful landscape from the train. An Asian woman sits down next to her on the train. They start talking and Laura tells her something about the route. In Lucerne, they take a selfie together. Laura then stands next to the train and speaks to the camera. “My name is Laura and I'm a German teacher. The Zentralbahn is like a daily companion for me.” She then walks past the camera on the train.
