Chris lives in Zug and grew up in Bern. He takes every opportunity to visit his hometown. As a true fan of the Zentralbahn railway, Chris prefers to take the route via Interlaken over the Brünig Pass. It is one of the top 5 panoramic routes in Switzerland and, for the active Ironman finisher, the most beautiful connection to his home canton. He is happy to accept the longer travel time because the view of the passing landscape fascinates him with its fantastic vistas and allows him to relax completely. The trip on the Zentralbahn gives Chris a spontaneous feeling of being on vacation on his favorite route, Lucerne–Bern, because “our railway connects.”
